About

Hello, I’m Ningdan, a photographer and visual artist currently based in the United States. My work explores themes of memory, perception, and cultural dislocation through the lens of everyday life.

I am drawn to quiet moments, subtle gestures, and the emotional textures of space. Working across digital and analog formats, I create long-term photographic projects and visual essays that examine personal and collective identity.

My recent series investigates the interplay between architecture and human absence, seeking traces of lived experience in places often overlooked.
